it’s crazy to me that when i first read this book i just sympathized with holden a lot…and now not only do i sympathize with him, rather i understand him and his anger and his sadness and his frustration about people wasting their lives knowing his brother can’t do that but also knowing you’re a hypocrite because you’re also wasting your life and you’re failing him…grief is crazy lol
