The Bethlehem Candle has been lit! “And He shall be called… The Prince of Peace!”

When reading awful books I always trudge through them. But I’m seriously considering marking this one as a DNF. Renting twice from my library, it’s on hold for a third time, and if I don’t finish it for this third borrow, I’m done. Completely over this!

Renowned hack (I mean author 😬) James Patterson is back at it again with another book written by someone who will never be as famous (Thanks Brian Sitts for your hard work!) This is going to be a beautiful disaster - destroying some of the best known mystery detectives of all time!

After reading much of this book, I’ve realized that the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are a total rip off! This is an unrelated question but does anyone else listen to ‘He’s a Pirate’ while reading this book?

It sucks! Don’t read it!

Phenomenal classic! Got to Chapter 17 and then my girlfriend says, “I just bought Uncle Tom’s Cabin, let’s do a buddy read!” Ugh! Back to page one… :(

I only really got into this book after I was about to give up on it at the 100 page mark. It took nearly a month to get through that first 100, but have doubled that in the past 24 hours!
