I do like this book but I always forget about it. Somehow it just doesn´t stick with me when I am not purposely looking for it or seeing it on goodreads or audible. Not bad but not good either.

Was als toller Familien und Reiseroman begonnen hat dreht sich nach ca 50% des Buches nur noch um einen Mann. Danke aber nein, danke.

I really do not want this book to end. As in ever. That´s why I am pacing myself hardcore.

The film predictably ruined any kind of hope I had for finishing this book. I do love the writing style but the movie is so beautiful and hard to forget that I just can´t really bring myself to read anymore because now instead of my mind making the pictures as I read them I just see what I saw in the movie.

What happened to content warnings, a horrible rape just came out of nowhere. I would have never choosen this book had I known but it was recommended via Goodreads. What a waste of money for me.
