Yes, yes I did drop everything else when this showed up in my email today. I may only be on chapter 5, but I'm already loving it. Lisette's writing gets better with every book. <3

Wow...it took me way too long to clue in that this was Silas from the Loveless Brothers series, lol. Now I'm more excited to read it.

This started out all dark and broody and dramatic (pretty much what I expected), but now chapter 5 has me laughing so much I'm crying. Go Hadriel!!

Finally!
"Home" is the best chapter I've read in a long time. Love seeing Vice's growth, and it's a LOT of growth from where she started. This chapter was so sweet and satisfying. I kind of don't want the book to end, but also I really want to read HEA.

I figured out the big final twist in the first couple of chapters, but still enjoyable.

Hoot has returned!!!! I'm laugh-crying again. I LOVE that dog! Desperately needed after the seriousness of book 2.
