I’m so glad that the flaws in the elves’ system are finally being acknowledged!!

OH MY GOD. POOR FREAKING KEEFE. I want to cry every single scene with him in it. And KENRIC AND ORALIE. My goodness.

I know Rebecca Yarros is a lover of making the last hundred pages emotionally destructive, so I’m definitely saving those for later. And I’m genuinely scared of what’ll happen…

THE CLIFFHANGER I ENDED ON. WHAT THE FREAK? WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT.

Also, Violet and Xaden are killing me. The tension, the pain that Xaden is going through. It’s no longer them hurting at each other, but WITH each other.

Xaden and Violet reaching a new level of desperation in this one is PAINFUL.

i am actually struggling to get through this book...i think it's been about a year since i started it???
