Only finished chapter 1 and I can already cross a few things off the Wrexford & Sloane bingo card:

Random capitalizations (Life, Good, Evil): check
"pot calling the kettle black": check (first of the generally over-used idioms in this series, at least we haven't had a Latin one yet)

If I made this a drinking game, I'd probably have alcohol poisoning before getting 3 chapters in LOL

Looks like it's going to take me a while to warm up to the main character. A few of the things she's said/thought just rub me the wrong way. I still have hope that it may just be the effects of her grief and her true personality underneath will be different, but so far I do not like her much... *fingers crossed*

Ugh, my goodreads (in mobile browser) is suddenly full of ads, which would be annoying enough without them flickering in and out, shifting everything suddenly up or down on the page and making my clumsy fingers miss the links I intended to click...
