Just told my bestie how remarkable I always find Ms. Atwood’s novels to be. Each protagonist is wholly individual and their own, but you recognize the through line of her language and Canadian settings. I love it!!!! This one is also totally creepy and unsettling.

Really juicy, cannot put it down, although it has a very heavy tone and you can really feel the way the protagonist’s brain works so it is almost a little exhausting in a way so I need to finish it ASAP

You know how my classification for rating movies on Letterboxd is rewatchability? Why do I not hold my books in the same esteem - rereadability! Duh! My favorite books are those that are classics, in that each time I revisit them, I gain something new, and loved it just as much, if not more, than the last. Wow. I am afraid I have been reading my books all wrong up until this realization!
