I’m going to buy the book when it comes out in paperback this fall.

It’s going slowly actually.

Now I'm convinced. Flavia, girl genius, is also a psycho, and her father is obsessive. Plot line here is just TOO much!

I do like this guy, the brazen hussy. He’s a shameless name dropper, I do mean shameless, but he’s quite likable. I’ve seen a few of his YouTube videos and his kids are a hoot. He made, apparently, the best choice in the world when he married Jessica Green because she actually made everything possible. French kitchens/chef personality issues are the core of this story. It has changed my view of French cuisine.

I just can’t binge read this series. I like it a lot but too much is too much. I’ll return to it soon.

A little slow in spots, but very good characters, plot and writing. Needed a little stricter editing.
