Elayne, Nynanaeve, Thom, Julin and Uno and his gang have all arrived in Salidar. Not quite warm welcome they expected. Rand has visited and started shaping the new Cairhieninen.

I honestly thought Rand would kill Couladin in some fashion after a hard fought battle but instead it was Mat! I did not see that one coming at all. I thought Mat would lose finally and then be brought with Couladin to face Rand but that did not happen! What a plot twist.

The prophet is Masema and Uno and Ragan has reappeared. Nynaeve and Elayne aren’t exactly in trouble but they are not far from it at the moment. Birgitte has been cast out of world of dreams and now who knows what will happen. The black ajah and Moghidien are looking for them.

Stuff is really kicking off! Rand is in Cairhien, Nynaeve and Elayne is close to Siuan, Leane and Min

A lot of these last 100+ pages has focused on Egwene, Nyaeneve, Elayne and Rands storylines but we have finally gotten back to Min and Siuan! I wish we could see more of Perrin though. He is my favorite character and we have not seen him in this book yet

I’m really enjoying this book! The pace is perfect for me and it feels like we are getting somewhere in the story. There are so many different storylines at the same time but it is woven so intricate and beautiful.

This book is growing on me. It’s quite a stressful time at work so the slow pace of the book is exactly what I need. I feel like my 10-25 pages a night is a nice way of reading this book

First Rand chapter is in the books and you can tell he is getting more and more intertwined with Lews Therin. Egwene and Moraine does not have it easy

As usual the start of the Robert Jordan books are not as fast paced

Well a lot has happened since the last update. They got introduced to the brotherhood and then they got caught by the thought police. As well as many many lessons learned.

Winston and Julia have met and have become acquainted with each other. She is the same but at the same time she is the opposite of him. It’s quite interesting. The propaganda is going on. The part about rewriting history and especially inner party members history is really similar to how we decide that certain politicians transgressions are fine and don’t make it to the light while others are brought forth.

Nothing new but the more you read in this book the more you see the parallels to the real world which is quite interesting!

As this is a classic it is quite interesting to read it. I have read it once before in 2018. No2 7 years later it’s interesting to see what has stuck and what is new. Back then I remember the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean being what stuck with me. Now it’s more the propaganda and the revisionist history that I think of. Really interesting.

The plan to blow them all up was thwarted by Darrow himself, however he started a civil war between the Augustus and the Bellonas instead. The golds will be clamoring for blood in the two factions. I can’t wait to see how this pays off.

It does not look good for Darrow after a few chapters. I wonder where he will end up now that Nero has dropped him.

Well I haven’t updated here as often as I should have but the book is progressing nicely. I’m enjoying Hilo and Shae’s new roles and how they have grown into them. I really love that the world is expanding.

Being back in this universe is great! I really enjoy Hilo and Shae’s relationship. And Anden is about to show up again

Well all hell has broken loose! Basgiath is under attack and the wards have fallen. Vi and Xaden, Ridoc, Sawyer, Garrick, Bohdi, Rhi, Imogen, Dain, Sawyer and everyone else don’t know if they will live past this day

Cat is trying her best to destroy Xaden and Vi’s relationship. Is she going to turn or become a traitor maybe?

So they have gotten the luminary and the Fliers have kind of joined the rebellion or rather the fight for the continent. Vi is getting better and better at controlling her power and somehow someway they are still continuing classes. Hatchlings have emerged in Aretia too which puts them all on the map as well which isn’t the best.

Well all hell has broken loose and the truth is now out. Vi and Xaden has made it to Aretia after Vi almost dying because of Varrish torture

The book is progressing well and I’m enjoying it! The torture part of the RSC is just about to start and that will be interesting to see! Hopefully everything goes well (it will not)

Well Vi almost got assassinated by Colonel Aetos so the second year is off to a hot start

Right back into the action with Vi, Xaden and now Brennan! Bohdi and Imogen are still here and Dain is out on thin ice at the moment! Let’s see what happens

Well this book is definitely not what I expected but it is really good! I thought it would be more “Sci-Fi y” but instead it’s both sci fi and medieval at the same time. The convergence is incredibly interesting. Darrow is also a great character and o wonder how his conflict with Cassius will resolve. As well as his relationship with Mustang will evolve.

I started reading this book on the plane back home. It was really really interesting. Darrow is such an interesting main character. His attitude and cockiness makes him a perfect gold without being one. His interactions with Dancer & Harmony are great and the beginning of the book with Eo was incredibly sad to witness. Also to find out the reds have been deceived the whole time was a great plot twist.

I haven’t been updating as well as I should have but the book is really interesting even though it is a slow burn!

The book is slow paced but the descriptions and the details in the book is anything but slow. It’s really interesting and I’m seeing the groundwork for Fitz being laid out infront of me! It’s really interesting.

An interesting but slower start than my previous book. Still there is something gripping me and it ain’t letting go

I was sure that we would have Alan, Shae and Hilo plus Anden for at least this book. To have Alan ripped from the book was unexpected. This book is great. So far my favorite character is Hilo even though he might be a little difficult. Shae is awesome in my head I see here becoming the pillar of the clan someday.
