A lot has happened these last 140 pages. Hilo and Woon are alive after that horrific bombing. Dauk Lo is dead and Espenia is facing a new crisis in leadership. Anden and Shae saved Ayt Mada in a time of crisis and so much more

We have jumped ahead 6 years and a lot has happened. Let’s see what this new era brings.

So we have suddenly jumped around 6 years into the future and Anden is trying to stop the Mountain from gaining ground in Espenia. Maik Tar has murdered his fiancée Iyn Ro and veen exiled. Wen has recuperated amd Shae and Hilo seem to be doing better.

It feels great to be back in Kekon! Hilo has not taken the path I would have like but that was too be expected. However I feel so bad for Wen.

Vin=Preservation

Alright alright alright the Sanderlanche has started let’s bring on this epic conclusion

We are in the middle where most of the story is looking bleak. Preservation just died, Vin is captured and has no metals. Elend almost gave up. Breeze, Sazed and Sppok are looking up though. Tensoon has escaped and is going to Ureteau so that is.

Spook has turned into Kelsier 2.0. Vin and Elend are having a mistaken stalk them. We have found out how Koloss, Kandra and Inquisitors are created. We have also gotten to Fadrex which is not as easy of a nut to crack as expected. Let’s see what happens

Fadrex City, we have arrived. Also Kelsier is back or at least he is back in spirit. Giving Spook the ability to burn Pewter! So far this book is quite a lot better than the second one I would say.

I recognize this pattern from Sanderson. We are in the depression part of this story. It reminds me of Rythm of war and Kaladins struggles. Also are we whitewashing Rashek? I’m exaggerating, I know we are adding context and depth to the story. I wonder though who will take up the Shard? Is it Vin?

I enjoy the start of this book better than the start of the well of ascension. As in all the books I read I really want to learn more about the world and explore the world. In Mistborn that was the case as all was new. I the second installment that kind of stopped as we were secluded to Luthadel the whole book basically except for short installments with Sazed in the beginning and Vin & Elend at the end.

Jumped straight into the next book! And we are right back into the action. It seems the inquisitors have started a rebellion that Elend and Vin have to stop. Also Ruin is free on of the shards. Let’s see how they handle that!

Right into the action as Sanderson likes it. There is definitely a hole left by Kelsier but, Vin and Ham are growing on me even further.

What a book! I’m so pleased that the book is not censored and PG-13 it’s really brutal and action forward

Took a break reading Bleach instead and then came back to this book this week. However, I haven’t been updating the app! Things have escalated quite a bit. Darrow has taken his army to Jupiter. Roque is his main enemy and Ragnar was slain by Aja.

Part 1 of the book is done already in one sitting. It is only 95 pages so it is not an immense amount but that is the way the book grabs a hold of you. Darrow was captured but is now freed and has gotten Victra to his cause. Ragnar and Sevro has kept the rebellion alive and someway somehow Darrows family lives!

Elayne, Nynanaeve, Thom, Julin and Uno and his gang have all arrived in Salidar. Not quite warm welcome they expected. Rand has visited and started shaping the new Cairhieninen.

I honestly thought Rand would kill Couladin in some fashion after a hard fought battle but instead it was Mat! I did not see that one coming at all. I thought Mat would lose finally and then be brought with Couladin to face Rand but that did not happen! What a plot twist.

The prophet is Masema and Uno and Ragan has reappeared. Nynaeve and Elayne aren’t exactly in trouble but they are not far from it at the moment. Birgitte has been cast out of world of dreams and now who knows what will happen. The black ajah and Moghidien are looking for them.

Stuff is really kicking off! Rand is in Cairhien, Nynaeve and Elayne is close to Siuan, Leane and Min

A lot of these last 100+ pages has focused on Egwene, Nyaeneve, Elayne and Rands storylines but we have finally gotten back to Min and Siuan! I wish we could see more of Perrin though. He is my favorite character and we have not seen him in this book yet

I’m really enjoying this book! The pace is perfect for me and it feels like we are getting somewhere in the story. There are so many different storylines at the same time but it is woven so intricate and beautiful.

This book is growing on me. It’s quite a stressful time at work so the slow pace of the book is exactly what I need. I feel like my 10-25 pages a night is a nice way of reading this book

First Rand chapter is in the books and you can tell he is getting more and more intertwined with Lews Therin. Egwene and Moraine does not have it easy

As usual the start of the Robert Jordan books are not as fast paced

Well a lot has happened since the last update. They got introduced to the brotherhood and then they got caught by the thought police. As well as many many lessons learned.

Winston and Julia have met and have become acquainted with each other. She is the same but at the same time she is the opposite of him. It’s quite interesting. The propaganda is going on. The part about rewriting history and especially inner party members history is really similar to how we decide that certain politicians transgressions are fine and don’t make it to the light while others are brought forth.

Nothing new but the more you read in this book the more you see the parallels to the real world which is quite interesting!
