Decided to finally start this book today and it brings up Dolly Parton. Of all days. RIP to a legend.

While there are plenty of reasons I wouldn't want to live in the 1950's, gelatin salads have to pretty high up on the list.

Do I get it? No, not really, but I am intrigued...

I fear my brain may be too mushy to truly appreciate the beautiful and poetic writing of this book.

I am ready to cry.
