Re-reading this for the first time since 1993.

FYI - I’m reading a page or two of this every day on the toilet, whenever I am home. It’s a slow going and a tedious process - like reading Ulysses is supposed to be anyway.

Ok - now time to start reading The Edge again after my diversion into Ali Smith... Gonna start from the start again and do it right.

This was the “heavy book” I referenced in my review of the Romesh Ranganathan book. Too dark for my mood the day I started to read it and now on the back-burner a short while because of a stupid promise I made myself to start Ali Smith’s “Spring” on March 21st...

Totally forgot my wife and I are listening to the audio book of this on and off (originally the plan was to listen on a big road trip summer of 2020...but COVID prevented that). We listened for several hours more yesterday doing some chores and other house work and are sadly, but thankfully slowly, nearing the end...

Just so you know - this is a book to savour, not rush, and I am intentionally reading it incredibly slowly, checking out a lot of the music mentioned along the way.
