It’s not glaringly distracting but there’s something subtly odd about the way he writes Alondra… almost an objectivity, but like in manner as if he’s not trying to be but in doing so, is.
If that makes sense.
Almost trying to be too respectful and giving her high regard but in doing so is just placing her on a shelf instead of being another person in the story.
Not overtly… but there is a weird vibe.

His nickname for her is “Red” and while I think it’s cute and I’m so hear for it…all I can think of is the Punisher calling Daredevil “Red” which is a completely different vibe

If I had never read chapter 10 ever, I would be perfectly fine.

I both watched and rewatched the film during the evening this past winter and the middle of this summer, and I began reading the book during the sunset…and I believe that this is the essence of this story, somehow.
