Currently doing a reread of the whole series, it’s been a few years. My reading tastes have changed, and I was wondering if this series would still hold up as well as my literal obsession over this series that I had for years.
It absolutely does. I really believe that. No super hero story is as good as this one, and no fight scenes in books are as good as the ones in this series. So, so much fun.

I was way too arrogant 70% into the book, looking at the other reviews saying it was such an emotional read. Now here I am sobbing.

It is a pity that I won’t spending a long time reading and savour this book. I know there’s no option but to devour it.

I'll admit, I have an addiction to this series. I'm not ashamed of it.

Whenever I'm sick I feel like reading Harry Potter. It's like a warm blanket I can snuggle under.

Hmmmm I'm surprised I'm not enjoying this as much as I was expecting

Since I wrote that last update, the story has been nothing but heartbreaking. So very very heartbreaking. This, I think I was expecting more - given the topic. The way Chabon developed these characters though, that's what makes you care so much and makes you feel so deeply about what's happened to them.

I don't know what I was expecting from this book, but it's really stunned me. It's simply beautiful.

Holy hell I'm devouring this book. I started a few hours ago and I can't put it down. I'm feeling like it's going to become one of my favourites. It's so well written and so intriguing. It's like a big jigsaw puzzle where the pieces are slowly coming together to make a big picture you understand.

Hmmm. I'm totally undecided on this book now. I was loving it but there was something that wasn't handled as delicately as it should have been and it's not sitting well with me.

I'm really enjoying this novel. It's compelling, and very well written. My only absolute concern is that unless it continues to carefully executed, the story could end up being a string of coincidences. I do, however, have absolute faith given the strength of what I've read.

So haunting...

This is delightful.

When I re-read one of my favourite books, I feel like I'm home.

I know I loved this the first time, what I forgot was how often I genuinely laugh out loud from this book.

This is exactly what I hoped for.
