god i love arundhati roy. i’m so glad i read Azadi before this. i’d have loved it just as much if i hadn’t but now i can tell why.
it’s just hauntingly beautiful.

(also. i really need to stop reading reviews because i just read like a 2 star review of the book by a yt person about how there’s no story and they couldn’t warm up to any of the characters and now i wanna . unalive)
