The naiveté of the staff with regards to Perseus Duport's parentage is driving me up the wall. I hope this is somehow explained.

I want to love this but I'm finding it really slow going. I can't decide whether to put it to one side to come back to when I have more energy and concentration to give to it or to continue ploughing through it.

I am enjoying this book but it's perpetuating the annoying myth of 'Diana and Unity were so innocent and if they should be held accountable for the crimes of Hitler then Decca should be held accountable for those of Stalin' which is so bloody flawed

This one is going so slowly. I enjoyed GoT, loved CoK and SoS but this is just not very well paced and I can't wait to read other things to be quite honest.

Reading this for uni. Really really hate it.

Seriously slow going. It's not that I'm not enjoying it, it is just taking me AGES.

I'm around 100 pages in and every review I've read has said this is a real page-turner. I can't say I agree just yet but I am withholding judgement for now.

This book is BEAUTIFUL. So many lovely pictures. It's a topic that endlessly fascinates and repels me at the same time - the idea of ideal beauty - and it's covered here so wonderfully.
