this book is so bleak

oh i would’ve eaten this up in middle school. i want this book for my younger self even if the hype that luna gets isn’t all that believable - but that ache purpley confused cringing middle school feeling is all too real in this book so far and i love the introverted bookish feminist west coast wasian girl representation

already so good. the language sings. this is the exact kind of writing style i love - fiction that reads like poetry without feeling pretentious
