You don't meet the 3rd character until 200 pages in. I actually forgot about her, but she is worth the wait so far..

Carrie Redd is finished with The Evening and the Morning (Kingsbridge, #0)

Loved it! It was a fast paced story with great characters. I like to visualize the characters while I'm reading about them, so my only complaint was that some of the names were so similar I couldn't get a clear picture in my head! Did they really give the same first letter to every boy in the family in 10th century England!? It had an ending, that made me happy when I competed the book.
