I somehow have gotten 42% through this book and not much has happened.

—MC is a typical heroine (sooo beautiful but also sassy and not aware of said beauty)

—Already found a couple of times Scottish slang\words was used wrong

—Found a big inconsistency with the timeline. This could be because it's an ARC, but idk

It's okay so far, though I'm not fully invested yet.

Side note: Wasn't sure what a wrapper was—I thought it was just being used as an alternative word for clothes—but I found out it's actually a type of clothing worn in Africa.

Still confused but trying to get through

Slowly but surely working my way through. I'm not sure the tone of this book is really working for me (kind of humorous, but it doesn't really go all the way so the humor part kind of falls flat). But I like some parts too. It's looking a bit like a 3\5

A little confused but I think I like it

I can't stand Mary. Pushy, obnoxious, judgemental, and rude. There's a reason I don't read sister stories and it's because it treads on past traumas and right now, Mary is all over my nerves

I was really hyped for this book but I just realized the MC is asexual AND aromantic. I really thought he was just ace. I'm still going to read it because it's good, but I'm working through a little disappointment now

Not going to lie, I'm getting a bit bored...but I'm going to try to push through.

I'm so done with Jamie. So done.

She spends 90% of this book pushing this guy away and when he finally has had enough she's all confused, like she didn't do this to herself. And she's saying she wants to do better but isn't. doing. better.

I'm finally starting to get into the story. The beginning was rough, and I wasn't a fan of the character introductions, but I'm kind of enjoying it now

Jamie is borderline harassing this guy. It's not cute.

A part of me wonders if this is me being sensitive. But, if this were a man talking to a woman this way, I would 100% see this as harassment so I'm going with my gut.

Really not a fan of how Siri swears lol. But since Jamie swears like a normal person I'm assuming this is to show the contrast in how they were raised.

I'm loving this book!

This book condones men calling women whores and wanting to sleep with a bunch of women and also condemns women who want to sleep with men. *Jess Owens voice* Make it make sense Jesus

I'm no longer bored but I am INFURIATED. The way this book talks about women disgusts me. I'm sensing a rant review coming on.

I'm moving through this so slowly!! I'm just not in a contemporary mood. But I'm getting there!

I'm just not really interested in the book. I DNFed too many BookSirens books though, so I'm going to finish it.

I will say that there was one scene that I did not like, having to do with SA and how the characters reacted to it.

So far it's not bad, but I'm finding myself a bit bored. It's not necessarily *boring* but I haven't been really gripped yet.
