Bryce & Hunt’s dynamic is getting really good now. The longing and sexual chemistry has really heated up. Wonder how long it will take for them to hook up versus actually declare their feelings? My bet is sex is coming soon but any love declarations are further off. Then again I could be wrong bc Hunt is pretty guarded and I could see him rejecting any advances because he won’t allow himself to move on.

Really enjoying Hunt & Bryce’s banter. Love the dynamic of them being forced to work together and Hunt being her protection detail. It’s cute how much they annoy & antagonize each other bc there’s clearly a mutual attraction between them.

I’ve heard this one can be hard to get into at first. I can see why people say that because quite a lot terms and definitions, places, etc are thrown at you. But I find it easy enough to navigate and Bryce is keeping me interested.

Restarting this with the hopes of finally finishing it and getting through Crescent City 1-3, Tower of Dawn, and Kingdom of Ash. I really fell behind on my series. I Will may need to reread the rest of Throne of Glass too before TOD & KOA because it’s been a while. Hopefully I can get through it all by the time the new ACOTAR book releases in October!

Listening to this via the author reading it his story on YouTube channel Peterlikesbooks. I initially listened to it back in 2020 when he uploaded daily videos reading it.

Though it had been a few years I still thought fondly about this book and remembered the writing and story really stuck with me. Reading it again this still rings true. It’s a poignant, character driven story about grief and self discovery.

It’s starting to get really interesting now! Definitely keeping me reading to find out what happens, but I also know about the main couple bc spoilers so I am anticipating the angst and romance that will ensue eventually. I know this series isn’t romance heavy, but I’m enjoying the bits of angst and foreshadowing that are sprinkled in.

Not that far in, but I’m enjoying it so far! I’ve been meaning to read this series for a long time and finally felt in the mood to read again, after a long break. I was craving a new fantasy series and this had me hooked from the beginning so I think I’m gonna love it.

Wow so we’re starting off that way….If I were Elsie I’d never eat Fruity Pebbles again.

Rereading this series for the first time in a while to annotate it. It’s been fun so far, but let’s be honest I’m more looking for the next two books because Warner!

Omg Xaden…you leave a jar of violets for her! After saying she shouldn’t fall for you. Yeah…okay.

I’m only only part 2.1 but I’m enjoying this a lot! While this is a fanfic, the author does a great job of emulating Maas’s style. She tells ACOMAF from Rhys’ POV in a way that feels authentic. I would love to have a canon version from Maas, but this reads pretty close to what I imagine it would be like.

I’ve noticed a common thread that several books I’ve read lately have mentioned PEI. Being familiar with the island, it’s always neat….Although this particular protagonist mentioned it negatively, saying she “would die from boredom” if she lived there because “the hottest destination is the Canadian Potato Museum”… I find that so funny! There’s more to PEI than Anne of Green Gables or potatoes!
