I really appreciate how the author adds serious traumatic topics deflected with humor. I find a lot of authors can go to far sometimes with the humor and it can come off immature Ali hits that sweet spot where we see what the character’s deflection is but also a glimpse of the pain she is hiding.

I know what’s going to happen and I’m too sad to read it! The authors made me love the characters and now bad shit is going to happen. I might have to wait for the next book to be released to finish this, so I have some hope!

I’m so impressed by this book! I love everything about it! Definitely one of my top books in recent years!

Reads like early YA. I like the authors tik tok and thought when she was describing the book she was saying what the vibes would be, not the actual verbiage. Pretty disappointing.

Bad writing. Needs some more edits. Writing sounds immature. DNF

Okay so this book makes no sense. How is one stupid woman holding Ivan hostage into a fake relationship with him. He could easily just lock her in the basement and go get his girl she doesn’t even have anyone on her side. F*ck*n call her bluff!

I’d like it better if they didn’t steal so much plot from the Hungarian games..

I kind of like the premise, but it really needs another round of editing… Not to sure I’m going to finish it.

First page reads like a Wattpad story. 😬
