I never realized Hemingway was such a racist and anti-semite. I've read several of his books and short stories and simply don't remember his writing being that way. Aside from this and the glorification of the inhumane practice of bullfighting, it's a story about a group of awful people being awful to each other, with tons of alcohol and some pretty descriptions of countryside.
