Glad to be back in this universe! This book is much slower, but fun to experience the back stories.

Kinda sorta picking up? Like all the Blade and Herald world building still. Still bored with some of the storylines/ characters

This book is so good and well written. Harsh to explain how this is so different from Gunslinger, but Kings mastery at work is something else.

A long and windy path which has done deep dives on the characters and history. I liked the back story on Jardir. Not the biggest fan of one of the story lines, but shaping up for a strong finish 👌

Things are ramping up and the stakes are getting higher! Really enjoying this. If this is the "weakest " of Suneater, I think we'll be fine 👌

The politics, technology, world building, character work, and whodunnit aspects of this book are TOP. NOTCH! So excited to see where this one goes. Trending to being a top pick of the year! Love me some Thirteen Seagrass!

After finishing The Expanse this week - needed a new long series to invest myself in. Literally a new voice foe the first time in 18 months. Digging the setup and character intros 👌

Guys - I'm legit struggling to finish this. Ngl - I'm not invested in ANY of the characters. Like... none of them. If I weren't buddy reading this I'd have dnfd this at ~30%, and I'm pretty bummed about that.
