these were a perfect collection to read together

5. kick flips in my stomach: ALSO a fave, sweet high school crushes / reminded me about how grief and love is everywhere all at once

been reading this exclusively while I sat with the foster cat, OR at the hospital emergency room (happened once). she's here through it all <3

i do keep having to reread previous pages to remember what happened because it's so long in between reads

"You can't go home again" reminds me of a queer screen film fest short I watched in 2025 called "I only kiss in the dark". Bittersweet... of what could be.... of what can't be.... ahh

read the entirety of Part 1 in one sitting with cherry the cat purring in my lap

literally got to the third page then had to stop it was too much
