So there's a big storm rolling in and crop circles are popping up. They seem to be connected to the new enemy, black moon, and now they've captured jupiter. Wow

Well this is like an Orwellian nightmare in a possible future. The circle uses cult like tactics to make sure their is no dissent and it's scary. Ugh I'll keep going but I may have nightmares.

This is a broad statement but....

OMFG COMPANIES ARE THE WORST AND THE OLD PRACTICE OF HIRING SCIENTIST TO BACK THEM UP AGAINST LEGAL SUITS IS JUST DISGUSTING!!

That's all for now.

Ok. So spoilers for the first chapter.

So I just started this and wow pettiness is really as old as recorded history. The bone war, the first chapter, is really fascinating and disheartening at how much of dinosaurs we could've known because these men were children. And because of that 'its mine' mentality they blew up whatever bones they couldn't move so the other couldn't grab them. What the hell?!

Woooo..... yeah. Not gonna lie but I had to look up some notes to understand what was going on. Maybe I'm going deaf? Maybe. But man this book is so full of themes and how each story flows into each other is just amazing.

So far not a sophomore slump. And while I'm kinda comparing it to the show from memory, it just makes me love the show and this book series more.

So I thought this would be more than just 6 of the tales in Greek mythology but that's ok, the amazing artwork makes up for some of the let down. I'm not sure if explanations can be used since it's mostly a re-telling of the myths with like 1-2 pages of what the story means at the end. It's a good read nevertheless and just reminds me of how the gods are dicks.

I think this one sentence sums up my feelings about Henry VIII. However I have to remember it was a different time and all that jazz. But still, he's a dick.

So i got this book I preparation for the movie, even if it's not going to be made until AFTER 2019. It started out ok, but I'm starting to not like Charlie, or Charlotte. I'm not sure exactly why but she seems to like messing with people, especially her childhood crush who is obviously in love with her. It just seems like a dick move. Maybe I'm being to hard but oh well, I'll still listen to the book.

OH MY GOD! This book is hilarious! I really can't say much since it could give it away the awesome dialogue and it's just amazing. This just needs to be read.

Listening to this book might be my downfall. It feels like a textbook and it makes me not want to listen. I think I might have to buy the physical book instead. But I will keep going, it'll just be at a slower pace.

So, while I know I should root for the main guy, Jude, to be able to rid himself off a ghost haunting, I find myself wanting him to fail. He is not a good guy. It's interesting to see that he has the copacity to be a good guy but actively chooses not to. But it is a fascinating story so far so I'll see if he can adequately redeem himself to actually be considered a decent human.

After finally getting the chance to read this, I'm sorry I didn't manage to get to it sooner. The creepy hags with a steampunk like world is great! I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of this.

While most things weren't a surprise, mostly the parmesan cheese and the FDA being equal to people in nursing homes on protecting us from bad food, there are still interesting facts that the main media has yet to disclose. Probably big corporate has something to do with that but.... at least we have books like this to tell us the truth.

As the old stories go.....vampires never die easy. That being said, it doesn't need to be said that the main antagonist, Dragosani, isn't done yet. Oops just did....oh well. However, we are not privy to his thoughts yet and instead we are graced with the one that made Dragosani the way he is. Dead men do tell their tales, and this old ones tale is interesting thus far.

I am aware that imagery is an impotent and necessary factor in the series but, like necroscope, I dont feel that is needed for Orb's descent into finding her full power be explained in great detail. Then again, I have been up for over 15 hours and would need to sleep soon. Perhaps after I get some sleep I will feel different about it, but for now it stands.

I am happy that Rapture found her confidence in her freedom to be on her own. Like they say "when in Rome....". And Mym's reaction to this is what I expected as well. Anger and jealousy are nasty things but I'm happy he stopped in time and did the selfless right thing by her.

As with the other three books of the series, Wielding a Red Sword is fast paced, and easy read and thoroughly invested in the character's life transitioning into the incarnation or war. I honestly did feel bad for Mym, to have that minor stuttering trouble all the time is exasperating. But I am happy that he found a way to surpass it and become the leader that his people needed him to be so far.
