I think I just want to rewatch 'Bewitched' and 'Hocus Pocus' - and this book isn't a substitute for that. The descriptions and sentence structures are bugging me, and it feels so far like this could have been a novella and achieved the same thing

giving until chapter 6 to intrigue me or i'm just going to DNF and unhaul :P

Mkay, this is good

I’m sure other people could find this version of a small town romance endearing, but I just can’t bring myself to care. I haven’t thought of this book much (if at all) since I picked it up over 6 months ago now. I can’t see this being above a 3-star for me personally, so I’m not feeling a drive to finish it either.

picking this one back up to see how i feel about it and whether i want to unhaul or finish. it feels like a romcom, but it's so surreal at the same time that i'm not sure i want to read it

i like my romcom books a little more realistic (though i'm still intrigued about his character). i do like the small town, close-knit community as well, but there are plenty of books and movies that do similar things...

i've already listened pretty far into this audiobook, and some of the male narration/writing is ridiculously cheesy, but that doesn't stop it from being hot
