I have no idea where I am in this book. I just spent all of October in the hospital. I will need to back up again to see memory where my memory kicks in. but I won't need to start over. If I never seen another hospital room again it will be too soon, especially one with 4 or 5 other people in it.

I wish I could edit status updates. I was in the hospital, hence the reading break. Too awkward to read, and I didn't want the iPad or iPhone dropped or stolen. Leave valuables at home, unless you are confident you can watch them (private room is best, but janitors, doctors, nurses, patients, visitors, or anyone can still wander in). Had my shoes and food in Tupperware stolen on other occasions.

I'm really enjoying the book so far. It has a comfortable vibe with an undercurrent of something is wrong, but what? Besides normal small town problems of small mindedness,
A man living an upper middle class life, but with an the inexplicable body weight problem.
Small town bred white male bigots, who need to take out their rage on someone.

I'm on my third read of this book. I started the series when the third book was new. After reading the 4th or 5th I decided to wait until the series was done and read them all then. After years of not reading them I have them all on Kindle! I've forgotten a lot over the years, so I'm excited.
