So far beautiful prose and excellent descriptive words! I don’t love how unrestrained the romantic aspects are; for this mythical medieval period the knight’s behavior and words feel crass and out of place. But we shall see!

This is Jane Austen’s best omniscient narration. Every character is fleshed out exceedingly well and I audibly gasp at many instances of injustice to Fanny (and Julia, on occasion). SO GOOD YUMMY I WANT MORE
