Violet thinks literally everything is her fault, it's so tiring, when it's obviously not.

Why is Violet so... Desperate. Of course we can't look in Xaden's head if he's going through the same thing, but I find her just seeming a bit pathetic when it comes to him.

It still bothers me that the Oscura clan sounds like it would be a vampire clan, but it is mostly werewolves, and the Lunar Brotherhood sounds like it would have more werewolves, but it doesn't - not really at least. I know someone's Order doesn't determine the clan they choose, but still, it feels so counterintuitive and even in the second book it still confuses me!

This book seems... Slow. And a bit boring.

This book is making me depressed for all the potential girls that think this book is romantic. Don't ask why I started in the first place.

It's okay, but they call each other by their full names SO MUCH! So much so that it's awkward to read.
