unsure about the premise that we should embrace the internet as a site of becoming / aspiration. i am interested descriptively in the way our identities are formed digitally but much less convinced ab the proscriptive side of things (embracing that fact). esp when applied to trans ppl where often the internet is a tool in the beginning stages of ID exploration but can long run hold them back from transitioning 'irl'

this book makes me a bit sick to my stomach because of how sasha somehow reads to me as both unbelievably insane and intensely understandable at the same time. she feels like a semi plausible alternate offspring of my past self, a horribly distorted AU mirror image of me if id stayed femme and never sought mental health care. genuinely horrifying.

sasha is the worst in an equally incredibly niche and incredibly recognizable way..,. its rly impressive
