This may be a DNF. I loved Between Two Fires but the tone of this is very different. I find it very hard to warm to any book with the "Heh. Yeah. That guy with the arrow in his arse? That's me. And how did I end up with this ragtag band of misfits? Well buckle up, bud, you're in for one hell of a story." narrative style, I just find it so tiresome.
