This is starting to get boring... and there is a whole other book to go. *sigh*

Odd. The first two chapters sound like a different author. Chapter three is the Tiffany Roberts I remember.

There's been a whole lot of talking and not a whole lot of doing. I'm honestly getting bored, but I'm so close to the finish line.

Only 10% in and the heroine is already a judgmental bitch. Off to a rough start for sure. What is that saying about first impressions? Yeah... not good at all.

You know, for a guy desperately trying to get a woman to fall in love with him, he sure does suck at it!

Really not understanding the hype for this book yet. We'll see...

Rayne told Emerson that it's not safe to go anywhere alone. So you know what that means! It's time for Emerson to do something stupid, like leave the penthouse because iTs A fUcKiNg PrIsOn, and get abducted so Rayne can save her. Can we get on with that, please?

Emilia is annoying as shit. I've lost interest in the romance between the two main characters. I will keep reading only because I want to see what happens with the piece of shit Sergio and The Outfit.

Take a shot every time the couple fucks. You'll be drunk 1/3 through. And I love it!

Yeah, Delora isn't getting any better. I'm going to take a break for now. I just hope book three is better than this. Book one was so good. Because of that, I will ignore how disappointed I am about book two and read three when released.

I'm really having a hard time completing this book. Delora is an awful person.

Only at 6% and already bored out of my mind. Moving on.

**** TRIGGER WARNING ****

I'm surprised a trigger warning was not added to the description/blurb of this book. There are many mentions of rape and torture, including a few mildly detailed rape scenes(done by the villain to multiple women). It was surprising to say the least.

My sister bought me this book. I haven't read this series and I know this is book 16, but I'm reading it anyways.
