I’m actually listening to an mp3 audiobook edition but there was no record for it and I’ve given up expecting GoodReads to add records other than Amazon Kindle or Audible records; they don’t or won’t. probably the latter.

I really don’t like this narrator’s voice. Cant articulate why; it’s just inferior to others. Thumbs down.

OMG, this story is incredible. In a good way, (straightforward espionage), but in a bad way too if you are creeped out by grizzly details of torture. This book is NOT for the weak of heart. It’s about sociopaths—a slew of them. (Who knew there were so many? Well, yeah, I guess there are if a sociopath parent raises his kids to be sociopaths…) How can Helen remain sane after seeing all the horrible things she’s seen?

For anyone concerned about the state of our country and the division stoked by Trump, READ. In the leaflet Hans Scholl of theWeisse Rose resistance group wrote in WW2: “our present State is the dictatorship of evil…it is your moral duty to abolish this system.” By any means possible, which in that time of tyranny, was passive resistance. The Allies found & copied the leaflets & dropped millions over Germany.
