Why is this book so fuckjng long I want to DNF it but I’m too far gone now I don’t want to waste the progress

I’m rage reading this. I actually hate it.

In finding it hard to get into this because so far we don’t see much emotional depth from the characters- just the common emotions that came with societal pressures at the time. I find this damaging because it propagates harmful stereotypes and I assume kind of misrepresents Korean and Japanese culture.

I needed to make this an update because I keep coming back to this page because Cathy is just saying everything about her love for heathcliff and I’m a little obsessed. I need to find someone who’s souls is the same as mine

Genuinely one of the most predictable things ever. The foreshadowing is so obvious it’s painful. When writing suspense you have to have a few red herrings and details that aren’t important at all so not everything leads to the end
