This is pretty different from the movie (which is a all time favorite) but I’m still enjoying it. It has it’s own charm. Annotating like crazy. I love Brandon and Elinor’s friendship so much!

Lyra is getting on my NERVES! I get that she’s supposed to be the new Avery but I don’t miss how she acted in book one. She grew a lot as a character and now it feels like we are on page one again, even tho I get that they are new characters for a new series. But I just wanted some variety. Not some old same old.

This is getting so addictive. I would stay up and read it but sleep
