Couldn’t finish. The writing is robotic. I need something with real showing and not telling. It literally read like “beep hoop he did this” the “beep boop he did that.” No subtle movements, no interesting dialogue. Extremely amateur writing.

I’m really struggling to finish this. It’s taking me way longer than it should because my interest is just not being held. But I’m 400 pages in, so I feel like I need to just finish for the sake of finishing. Why is there a part II? It could have ended at “Part 1” (80% in) and that would have been just fine.

Well I’ve been on quite a rollercoaster. How am I already at 83%?

I’m struggling with Cash speaking of himself in 3rd person constantly and referring to Liam as “the boy” also constantly. And the way the writing is so dry and stilted. Struggling with whether or not to DNF

It’s pretty good, but I’m losing interest with how slow it’s moving. There’s just a lot of nothing happening with a few things here and there. And a lot of repetitive phrases and words like “I could feel him rolling his eyes under his hood”, “he made an amused huff” “his distorted voice” “he cocked his head like a bird” etc. I’m really pushing to finish because I’m sure it will get better
