Im having way too many feeling to be this early still

Ngl I’m honestly surprised at how much I don’t hate this. It doesn’t sound like a boring textbook, and I’m learning things that are fascinating about my body.

I feel like so much has happened already. Holy cow. Also I fucking love Rapscallion

I’m interested but not invested. Interesting world building, and I like the characters.

While I realize that somehow they are connected, I really struggle to see how a married woman, with a pregnancy she currently feels lukewarm about, connects with two women in love but forced to marry men they don’t know. Trying to give it the benefit of the doubt though since I’m only 31% in.

I’m getting vibes atm and I’m hoping I’m wrong because if I’m right, I’m gonna hate this. 🫠

So far I’m liking it. The plot is good and the characters are interesting. My only beef is I’m getting subtle instalove vibes that aren’t my jam. Nothing overt so I’m able to roll with it.

I can tell this is a debut novel. I still enjoy everything happening but it has been somewhat choppy. A lot of moments feel a little rushed, especially between Griffin and Cat.

This book is so much better than the first 3.5. This is the first time I think I’m actually understanding the hype

They have a whole ass DRAGON but they couldn’t catch Ryder?! I don’t buy it.

First off, fuck Ryder. Already don’t like him.

Okay, that last scene got me. I’m able to sympathize with the weight that Keera carries, workings as the Kings Blade

Really confused on how this is labeled as sapphic when I’m getting the vibe that the male Shadow is the love interest. Maybe I’m too early? I don’t see this being a why choose. Hmmm

So this feels like we are back in the set up phase. Like the first 2/3 of Malice was set up and then holy shit the action. Now in Valor it feels like we have slowed down again. I’m not mad. It would probably be jarring to jump in to action on page 1. Either way, I’m still loving it. Love Corban, despise Evnis. Hate others too but I don’t wanna spoil. Ugh I’m so ready

I could be wrong but I feel like some of these chapter are on a different timeline. I’m not sure what makes me feel that way, but it’s causing some confusion of what’s happening. Also I must have gotten lost because there was a chapter about an ambush (Idr who’s chapter it was) but I haven’t read any follow up to it that I remember. I’m so confused 😂😂 but I’m still enjoying the story.

So far I’m really liking all the set up. A little confused about all the different POVs though. Why have four characters on the back if you’re going to have more than that in the story? I don’t hate it, I like some of those POVs so far either way. We’re obviously still setting a lot up though so I can’t say much yet

The plot is going well, the tension between Feyre and Rhys is getting pretty good. Overall though I’m not nearly as “invested” as so many people are about this series though. Did I miss the mark?

The fact that text messages are typed out in conversation style is super bothersome.
