Well this is just the cutest thing ever.

I've realised all these updates make it sound like I'm not enjoying this. I am, it's quite funny. I'm ready for these two to get a fucking clue and get together. I just don't really understand either of them.

Whyyyyy does Jonathan have such a big house? It makes no sense.

Somewhat incredibly, we are yet to see these characters even like each other let alone any level of yearning or pining. Grumpy is totally riding on the cat liking him to have any hint of redemption. Sunshine seems wilfully oblivious to how stressful difficult family relationships can be and continually pushes Grumpy well past his tolerance, which for a character "good with people" is somewhat frustrating.

Promising start, but Darcy is too nice to Oliver which doesn't bode well for an enemies to lovers tale.

Pleeease tell me this weight obsession is just this chapter. Also shouldn't she be gaining weight if she's carrying a pack while hiking? 🤔

Look, I am going to keep going, even though it's a hard call as to who needs a slap in the face more: Piper, or those so called parents who raised her to be the way she is. I think Piper is currently the least likable FMC I have read without just going straight to DNF.
