Soft DNF-ing book 1 cause I'm seriously not vibing and this creativity (yup, I'm having a reading, writing AND bookstagram posts-creating all at once) slump is making it worse.

Perhaps I'll come back to it. Perhaps I won't. Seeming very unlikely that I will but OK.

How to DNF book 1 without feeling guilty? I dunno, guys. Reading this is stressing me out more than entertaining me.

Has anyone read book 1 (Bad Boys Break Hearts)? Is there hope? Should I be a tad more patient. Honestly, I pride myself on my patience with slow burn books and all, but this isn't making me look forward to anything.

Also, Macsen is making me depressed and I feel bad for Cole cause Rory is bleh.

Slowest read ever. I'm really tempted to dnf this first book (Bad Boys Break Hearts) cause I'm bored as hell and it looks the author is more interested in describing the mundane things like the MMC standing in line to order food or how the FMC brushes her teeth and takes a shower.

I'm tryna tell myself that my shitty mood is affecting my reading but it's hard. Also I'm still SOO hung up on Lukas Blomqvist. 😭

Never been so scared to write a review in my life because I don't wanna trigger the tears again, and it's gonna get ugly cause the hormonal meter is going ga-ga tonight.

I don't even know why I'm always moved to tears when thinking about this book because it wasn't even sad at all but that goes to show how much I LOVED—and still LOVE Lukas and Scarlett but here goes nothing. 🫶🏽 Review innabit.

Yay! Miscommunication already! Plus a dude (MMC) who's unnecessarily angry and mean to his former childhood friend (FMC) when apparently, she didn't do anything to hurt him.

I'm hoping there's a reasonable excuse for his behavior tho because I'm not particularly a fan of this trope (been scarred by Penelope Douglas's “Bully”).

Having an attention problem is frustrating, honestly.

Starting off slow and kinda confusing but there's some spice already. Hopefully the plot becomes clearer. Oh and the ML is not what I expected at all for a “Godkiller” and a thief. He trips, falls, talks to himself, blushes and is like a typical human. It's so refreshing and relatable. 🫶🏽💞✨

There's nothing better than a lazy day spent reading a good book.

I'm loving this but I'm nervous cause this all feels like the calm before a storm. 😅
