Does a fantastic job of focusing at Hitler's personal life and development, with very good insight and commentary into the development of both. There are a couple of interesting factoids towards the larger situation, though nothing close to the comprehensiveness and incisiveness of Kotkin's Stalin biographies. But that isn't the purpose here, and it does its job well.
