Interesting little-known piece about the pilot wave theory of the 1920s, which better explains electron/quantum movement in slit experiments and ideas about entanglement. Sad that it’s kindof all theoretical, but then again, quantum mechanics is…..weird.

Have to pause this book until I get a hard copy of a world atlas. Interestingly, didn’t know about Afghanistan’s wakhan corridor. Weird little panhandle.

Super cute book. Secretly, I wanted to see if there were any similar themes of self-sabotage in another adhder’s story (of course things track). This story is simple, but beyond adorable. So happy for these guys in winning at life and finding peace after each fighting against themselves. Trauma is real and its effects are so undercover.

This comes from the diary of a journalist from day 1. How she feels, how she’s getting around, how she’s connecting with ppl. Plestia reads the audio book and her accent makes her so loveable. Really loving this book.

Just listened to Dr Gundry podcast-interview Dr Pelz, and I got sucked in! She talked a little about successes in peri-menopausal weight gain and in menopausal symptoms depending more-so on fueling the body through ketosis than on fueling it with food. Very intriguing discussion. Am now reading this book.

Ugh. Just finished the part where in early 1980s, Israel waited until the PLO military presence completely withdrew in Beirut as was agreed to and then they snuck in and slaughtered over 1100 CIVILIANS in a refugee camp. Not PLO members, not military combatants. Civilians. And of course USA had been helping them all along supplying the weaponry back then too.

Ok, honestly, this is a book I would buy for my now really small library. Lots of good stuff in this book. Follows a bunch of surfers, surf spots and their famous surf waves, rogue wave science, history of discovery of how ordinary the phenomenon of the rogue wave is, loss of ships, man there’s a lot of ships lost. Great book so far.

Pretty dry and boring. I think the challenge with this type of book is there’s so much information to get through, so many studies to throw in, but how do u present it as interesting or attention-catching? And interesting it is not. Feels like Jillian is just churning out books.

This feels like it is written for a 6th grader. The whole introduction could be shortened to like a paragraph. He has repeats himself so much it’s almost insulting, and definitely irritating. I don’t remember him being this. Like dude. Get to the point. Bullet point it if you have to, but readers digest it already because I’m about to return it to the library.
