Someone asked why binding 13 is not set in present day instead of the 2000s and I can’t stop thinking about it. Does someone know why?? Is there like a specific reason? I was thinking maybe the author based the books around things that really happened to her in 2005? Nevertheless I kinda loved the setting. It was nostalgic even tho I was born in 2004😭
