72% and I fucking hate this. How am I still listening?

Ok, I’m actually enjoying this one

I wish I skipped the first chapter. It was so pointless, all the author did was tell us about the character eating a million times and how she works out a lot and is so strong: wtf? You could’ve done that in a page.

Ok this is a different genre for me, but I had the book. Listened a bit and was amused at the dialogue so I decided I’d commit to it.

HOWEVER I fucking HATE (sorry for the cussing this is a huge pet peeve) when authors switch between names they use to refer to characters. ( first name, last name, nickname) especially in the same scene. Who is this extra person?! OH you’re referring to someone we know..

This was going to be my last book by this author, but I’m actually really enjoying it. Haha. If this ends well, I’ll keep reading

Why is there so much masturbation in this?

The concept here is so interesting but I feel like it’s overwritten. Just reading each characters descent into brainwashing just feels so long and drawn out. Like I get the point you’re making, we can move on.

The first half was fun. Now I’m bored to tears. Almost over!
