I love Throne of Glass, aka “Celaena has two boyfriends and her boyfriends are boyfriends”

I’m thinking this is going to be my year of rereads, and no better place to start than HOME. First re-read, it’s been about four years, I’m already blown away by how different this book feels.

I call all of my end of the year reads “character building” bc this isn’t good, and yet, I can’t put it down

sometimes I wonder if authors know there’s supposed to be a plot. you know, a story? conflict? antagonist? a reason to keep reading?????

this was also $2 at a garage sale and that’s the only reason I’m reading it, do not be encouraged by the fall from grace you’re watching me take right now

oh so there’s crack in this

it’s so refreshing to have a smart, tough, capable AND kind and caring fmc 😭 I’m so tired of it being strong and a bitch or sweet and stupid with no in between!!!

admittedly this middle section is dragggggging. very repetitive. but mirror magic is COOL so I’m still invested

wait so this is INSANELY good so far

!!! she’s a WHAT! I’m pleasantly surprised so far

six chapters in and this book so sickly sweet and tender that my eyes have not stopped watering

I AM SO. CLOSE. If the last four chapters are heavily detailed jousting, AGAIN, I may jump into traffic.

Cleaning out what’s already on my kindle…I have a very low bar for how bad mafia romances are allowed to be so I’ll probably finish this by tomorrow lmao

I actually can’t believe I’m closing in on the last third of this book. This has tested every ounce of my patience.

I don’t know how I ended up reading three books at once but I’m in a slump and I want OUT

Jamie and I are going on a wild ride through our childhood, I will NOT be receiving any criticism at this time

I actually have no idea how far into this book I am because the kindle version is broken and every page is 460. Turns out I’m on chapter 10 of 28, which is impossible, because I’ve been reading for YEARS (a week) THIS IS TORTURE
