Cigars of the Pharaoh has never been one of my favorites. Some of those uh character designs don't help though. Interesting to see Herge already trying to play with his style though. And all this leads to The Blue Lotus, the best one.

Finished up Tintin in America. Still a pretty weak one imo. Pretty rambling w/ no structure, lots of text getting in the way of the art. Still, some great visuals and gags—the bit w/ the lost dog posters outside of the meatpacking plant went completely over my head as a kid.

Always thought of Tintin in America as one of the lesser ones tbh
