Such short chapters

I think I’m gonna DNF. It’s just not picking up for me. There are too many characters and it’s like a whodunnit kinda think I’m really not enjoying it it’s just hurting my brain trying to keep up with 7 different backstories.

I’m 65 pages in, I’ve had 4 different character’s POVs and none of them connect. Nothing is happening. This needs to pick up.

This is either gonna be the most predictable book in the world or have an insane plot twist

This book is ruining my perception of all Canadians being nice.

Okay guys one more in the series and then I’ll ground myself with something smart or shit that’ll make me think I dont know

DNF

I can’t do this Jesus Christ have I exhausted all good fluffy hockey books I feel like I’ve officially run out.

Everything is past tense but also happening right now, it’s explaining everything like I’m 2 and the writing is crap. It feels like I’m reading words on paper rather than the scene playing out in my head like it should and my mind keeps wandering to literally anything and everything else.

My flight was delayed

i should not have started this one when i am out in the countryside.

It’s good but I’m a bit bored. Nothing is motivating me to go back to it.

I just got to chapter 3 and realised this is the third book in a series ugh so I have to go back and read the others first I dont know if I can be bothered

Oh damnnn

Okay a lot of things are pissing me off with this book but it’s very good at keeping you hooked. I feel like this is how I felt reading the first one too, like I didnt particularly love it but it kept me entertained enough and easy to read.

Ffs just found out there’s another book about Shane and Ilya so now I have to read two others before I get to that ugh this one doesn’t look appealing here I go

Okay I usually despise flashbacks but I think the way they’ve done this is okay. I mean I still hate it but it’s not going back and forth.

I know it’s literally smut but Jesus Christ can they stop having sex and add a bit more plot into the mix. I don’t think I can actually say I’ve read smut before this because christ this is like… a lot more than I’ve read before.

i keep forgetting if i’m in the past or present tense and i can’t differentiate but ive finally realised it’s counting down summers, it’s good but im not reading quick enough to remember what’s happened

okay it was going well and now it’s cutting to ‘12 summers ago’ i don’t know if i can be bothered with a back and forth, they really bore me

i don’t like where this is headed, i don’t want it to be one of those not stereotypical books after all and they don’t end up together.

i want to flush that damn phone down a toilet, just put it on silent omg it keeps ruining things. also, how are they so dumb about their feelings yet so connected to them.

i feel like that was way more than 20 pages christ i am a slow reader it’s annoying i was sat here like 40 minutes

okay it’s quite addicting, i like how it’s not constant screaming at the main character for being an idiot, like she’s not making awful decisions, and i love the humour and personalities of charlie and nora

i forgot how tired my eyes get with actual books though, and i miss my kindle, i wanna highlight stuff and add my notes 😔

okay it’s drawing me back in now, wish they wouldn’t take so long solving these bloody riddles though, i hate riddles

I dont know if its because of all the characters or because im reading like one chapter every week if that but this is getting difficult to follow. i think it is the characters yanno
