i don’t love the setting for some reason and i’m not that attached to the characters but i also have only been reading in short bursts so that doesn’t help. i’m getting more into it now tho

so i already have 3 of this author’s books on my tbr, including one on my physical tbr (all of which i added without realizing they were from the same author) and i should start with one of those but edelweiss sent me an arc of this and i thought what the hell sure

having a better time but i’m still not really emotionally attached unfortunately

obviously i love science so it's not that this book has too much science but i just really don't like the way it's delivered?? also this is not my sense of humor at all like i get why his internal monologue is like this but i don't enjoy it

so i fear the main character is about as annoying as i expected and the writing is also quite simple? but i’ll stick with it for now
