This book is so me. I am both of them, drowning in yearning for each other.

OMG I want to DNF… thing is getting too sloooooooow

Currently finished chapter 1 and honestly I don’t feel so good about this book. I read her previous works and I can understand how she executed the plot in her books. But this, it was a really weird feeling, I couldn't get the vibe or what she was trying to do. Moreover, she’s changed the writing style for a coming-of-age story and more literal fiction, which I don’t feel this book is written by R.F. Kuang.

So far so good, more than I expect. Lynn Painter is telling you guys no more fake dating troupe!!!

He keep calling her “honey” OMG I’m out of word. God I miss the YA energy.

Honestly I am confusing and I don’t really interest in Hollywood concept. I vaguely see how the story is going but nothing much happen and so much of the family story which I think would be better for the pace if the book’s editor removed this part.

I miss this book so I’m re-reading it!

This book has fast-paced and mixed timelines which is really hard for me. Also, the multiple POVs are a challenge, there are 2 POVs that are considered as 1 person in different timelines but there is no clue to guess. Don’t get me wrong, I mark it DNF but I’ll come back later ‘cause this book has a lot of potential, I’m busy in the meantime so I’m gonna choose something lighter and easier to read.
