It feels less aimed than the first one. Whereas in the first, there was a constant mission objective, this I am nearing the halfway point and it seems to only now cater towards a possible goal. The characters are being expanded upon, but the constant retelling of events from the first book and the rotten never-changing state of the city is starting to weigh me down a bit.

Enjoying the twists and turns this is taking. Just worried that it's coming to an end and there are still many questions left unanswered.

Cute. The story already has me very intrigued and the protagonist is likeable.

Finished the first story, on the green side. I loved the mystery of it all, and it went places I wasn't quite expecting from the get-go. Very interesting book.
Looking forward to the opposite side of this tête-bêche novel.

Walking a line between being too simple and explaining too complicated? After reading the Python Crash course, I prefer the approach in that book as it will explain the code and have you elaborate on it. This one will present you with a code, and then break it down line for line for you. It doesn't feel like I am "learning" myself, but rather just copying and then reading up on why it was done that way.

Uff. Personally, some of these tales feel more depressing than the previous book. Still worth reading, but I was not expecting these dsrker moments.

I found this and the next installment in a bookstore and remembering how much I enjoyed the first, I couldn't stop myself.

I'm enjoying this far more than I was imagining.

A surprisingly tempting and easy read so far.

Adults can be very annoying.

It's certainly going somewhere, though I am still not feeling any fear or horror derived from the story.

Not too scary yet, and I'm past the 1/3 point. Might be that watching a wide array of horror films has numbed the suspense a bit? Parts of it thus far have also felt predictable due to this.

Noticed this book in the store and something about the premise reeled me in like a fresh fish on a hook. This book is currently marking my first entry into paperback horror territory.

Though I sometimes have trouble understanding the exact words the author uses, the story is without a doubt riddled with mystery.

The main character appears like Wednesday if she weren't part of the Addams family.

This will take a lot of time.

I did not expect that to feel the way it did.

A lot to read through and digest. This will need a reread at some point with some extensive notetaking.
