I am reading this with a heavy heart knowing the next book of the series comes out next year in March!!!
I am trying to take my time and savour it because this series has helped me through the most darkest times of my life, but i can't seem to put it down!!
It's so interesting and the dynamic is perfect. I hope Vero's trial ends well and Javi is acting way too suspicious about Sophia. If i was Vero i'd be so mad

This is just the kind of book i need in my life right now. I've been feeling so down and in the dumps that reading a romantic lighthearted book is just what i need. Also reading this book alongside the 6th book in the Finlay Donovan series is just perfect. My mind just can't handle any classics or modern literature right now. I need sweet romance, lighthearted fun and good uncomplicated characters.

Yes, i am currently reading this book at work and what about it lol. It is such an easy read, but i am loving the romance between Maisie and Chase. Chase just seems like a lonely man which is so sad...

Sweet romance brewing. Chase is coming across as a heartless asshole, and Astrid seems like the ideal woman but he is too naive to see that. Maise is sweet and I am excited to see where their friendship leads to.

I hope i finish this book today. I woke up at 5am and started reading then fell asleep. My weekend has been beach, salt water, reading and relaxing. I hope this series never ends and when it does i know i will feel empty.
I don't know who murdered Penny's husband, Finlay is chaotic and my favorite character by far is Vero.

General update is this - I am at work on a Friday afternoon on my own in the office and i am shamelessly trying to catch up reading this book. Needless to say, i am paranoid, and conscious that my manager is in the room next to me but i simply cannot put this book down for the life of me!! I am excited to see what happens next and if Steven will actually be sent to jail.

Can you guys LMK what you are watching atm? I am stuck and after work i just want to chill abit and watch TV whilst playing a game.

I also wonder if this is the time I should become creative and join a hobby group.

Abit of a slow start due to personal commitments and work, but now needless if i say, i am HOOKED.
I can't put this book down when i'm at lunch and all i want to know is more. What will happen to MRS Haggerty and will Finlay finally discover the secret Steven has been hiding from her all along??

has anyone ever done dual reading, where you read more than 1 book at the same time? i've tried it numerous times but always fail. I have this thing where i can believe it's easy to do but the execution is way harder - i am always confused. anyways i guess i'm asking because i would like to know for those who do it, how do you guys manage and if the genres are seperate and that's why???

AHHHHHH i was reading this on my lunch break and unfortunately, i had to stop and go back to work. but oh my god they went to a strip joint i think now!!!? This book is just insane, so many twists and turns at every corner. I don't know what to expect anymore ahahahah

Exciting, captivating and I am absolutely obsessed!!!
I am rooting for Finlay and Nick to hook up somewhere secretive asap and for Vero to find Javi. I love how now Cam and Ike's wife are put into the picture as well as Sam.
All the characters are so likeable and this book is just amazing, really helps me in moments to feel less alone. I only wish I was reading this on vacation!!

Only on the weekend can I catch up with reading unfortunately...
Nevertheless, this book has many hurdles which are keeping me on my feet. I can only hope Finlay and Vero find a way to reconnect soon and find Javi

You guys i thought i would get through this book sooner, but work has been leaving me exhausted and believe it or not but i have other hobbies other than reading....
I wish i could stay 1 day of the week curled up with a good book but that's just not realistic. I only hope i can make a dent in this book by the end of the week.

It's a Saturday afternoon at 2:17pm and i have been reading all afternoon. This is what I look foward to during to week btw

God only knows how much I love reading this series, but it is taking longer than expected to finish this book. It doesn't make it easier that all my hobbies are at home e.g. gaming, YouTube, substack, writing...
I wish there were more hours in a day. I can only hope tomorrow I will finish this book !!

Girl, my heart stops beating anytime Finlay is doing something with Vero she’s not meant to do.

I genuinely thought I would get through more pages, but as we speak I have a headache and it sucks. I love love love this book, but I do feel like it is abit short. I am hoping the other books in the series are longer, but nevertheless, the storyline and new scenery fits perfectly. Elle Cosimano really knew what she was doing when writing this series. I am obsessed!!! Vero is becoming more likeable for me.

IM OBSESSED. I seriously cannot put this book down, I just constantly want to know what’s happening next it’s an addiction at this point.

I spent so much time reading it last night, thinking i could finish it but i ended up going on Substack and watching Youtube videos about Summerween LOL which is probably my all time fav holiday.

At this point, this book is getting me through the hardest time in my life because it is funny and engaging. Idk what I would do if I didn't have this series, I genuinely believe I would be down 24/7

I am now reading this book at work on a Friday whilst my coworker is absent... It's amazing, all the worthwhile going to work and being able to read at my desk in my office.

You guys i finish work in 10min and i couldn't be more excited to go home, watch some Netflix, read and i am also having Subway for dinner tn. YAY!

I am absolutely loving this book!!! I literally look forward to reading this everyday after coming home from work. It is so funny and it genuinely makes my day 100x better. The characters are likable and the series is well written. I couldn't recommend this enough. I am just excited for all the many books i get to read and i will purchase every single one.
