we've officially reached the Brandon takeover. I hear the writing of women gets worse (is that even possible?) but the spanking frequency decreases.

Perrin and Faile need to off themselves. but Egwene's arc in this book is SO good (for now)

on one hand, props to bobby for killing the best character he's ever written in the last book. on the other hand, now the series is 200% more insufferable.

somehow rand is the least annoying of all the characters who have had a pov so far. faile and Perrin are absolutely insufferable, all nynaeve does is tug at her braid and mat needs to grow up.

let's see how long it takes for me to get annoyed at the writing again

always struck by how absolutely pointless nakula and sahadeva are. it's like "oh these 5 brothers are so perfect: the wise one, the strong one, the noble one and...the two others".
